Creativity is in Betsy DeMarco's DNA.  Her father was a sculptor.  Her sister Lisa, a ceramic artist. Her brother Mike played in the Colorado Symphony.  Growing up Betsy and her family were always involved in decorating, designing, making music, and working on art.

A paintbrush and four bare walls grew into murals, grafitti, wire sculptures, gold leafing church ceilings, commissioned art and a full time career that helped this single mom put her two boys through college. But with all the successes in her life, Betsy DeMarco felt that she was missing something, that her real creativity and her skills with design and her love of art still lay untapped.  That is until she created The Blue Dodo.
